The eco-dad behind Eco NI says” “Lots of you have been asking who is Eco NI? Who am I? I am a Dad of two wee boys from Comber who wants to preserve the beauty of our planet for my children and their children. I believe everyone has a small part to play in reducing the amount of waste we produce. So my mission is to keep learning every day and educating others about: #plasticpollution, #banplasticuse

Eco Ni’s websites states the mission: “It’s time to take a stand and start cutting back on the use of common plastic items we use daily in the house. The impact of plastic items is causing massive pollution to our countryside and seas. Reducing an item a month and spreading the word could help with reducing plastic consumption and the amount going to landfill sites or even worse into our seas.”

ECO FRIENDLY STARTER PACK

Among Eco Ni’s products is the ‘eco friendly starter pack’ which contains reusable food bags, multi use pads, beeswax food wraps, travel bamboo cutlery set with bag and a toothbrush. The desciption in the shop states, “Not only will it help to reduce single use plastic consumption in your household but also ensure you are doing your bit to help save the planet.  All items are made from the highest quality material which can be reused over and over again.  Easy cleaned and simple to use”.
